can i put a superior absorbtion rune of a 15k Kurzick helm? what would happen?
well, yesterday i purchased a 15k kurzick helmet. The stats on it, reduces dmg from attacks by -1(non-stacking) and 1 to strngth(stacking). So, my question is what happen if i put on a superior absorbtion on the helmet, will it cancel out the original dmg reduction by -1 and change to -3 instead? the reason why i wanted to do this is, i dont want to waste another 25k for a helmet. thanks

Both of them will be on the helm, giving you -5 damage against attacks. (Knight's Helms are -2 damage against most damage.)
Oh, and side comment: it's better to get a weapon attribute helm than a Knight's Helm.

when a piece of armor says "non-stacking" that only means it wont stack with other armor piece bonuses.

now i'm confused... a -2 non-stacking and a -3 super abs will give you -5 globally?
I thought this combo would only yield the highest (-3) benefit. Confused in Cantha |

so knights and ascalon armor (same effect) no matter how much u have on, will absorb up to two. same with 2 absorbtion runes. on th other hand, the -2 while enchanted shield, the -2 knights armor, and the -3 rune all stack, for global reduction. knights + rune = -5 |

I have a similar question. What would happen if I put a Illusion rune on my Domination mask? Will it give + to Illusion instead of Domination or you just can't do such a thing ?

Adding for example domination rune to domination mask is just easy way to keep things simple because all domination + bonuses are in same armor part. That way you can change your other armor sets without breaking domination bonuses and therefore you don't need several domination runes unless you use other attribute masks too. Try to stick with the same attribute on the headgear. So if you have a +1 domination mask then add the superior rune on it for a total of +4
Same with warrior helms, +1 tactics, you can ad a tactics rune on it, +1 sword then a sword rune and so forth Quote:
Just wanted to mention that since some people might feel the same way. Last edited by boxterduke; Jun 07, 2006 at 03:59 PM // 15:59.. |

I think it's smart to put runes of the same attribute on their respective headpieces. . . IE Sup Axes run on Executioner's Helms.
